Having trouble.

I'm a little confused. I tried to follow these directions and I must be doing something wrong. I am trying to take an area of grass and put it over a dran pipe to cover it up. I"m clicking on the clone stamp, then I am selecting a round brush at size 21, even tried 65, also. Then, I'm moving the cursor over my image to the area I want to reproduce. I"m holding down the alt key and clicking to select the area. When I try to brush over the drain pipes, nothing is happening. What am I doing wrong? I am running version 7.0. Thanks

You might have your image in different layers?
So try to check the box where it says "Use in all all layers"
Use All Layers

The Use All Layers setting is absolutely invaluable in combination with this tool! When it is turned on, the tool acts as if all layers are merged when handling source data. The advantage of this is that you can add an empty layer above your image and clone to that layer. This allows you to correct mistakes without altering the source image itself. And by the way I think it should be invaluable, Mog!
Or invaluble, might be better English. Donīt know, but my spelling program keeps protesting.

Oops...yes, I do, and I misunderstood that paragraph as I thought it automatically merged my layers. I will do that and let you know if I have any problems. Thanks so much for getting back to me so soon! It has really made my day.
