What never ceases to amaze me is the number of people who acquire Photoshop and never think to consult the built-in Help, which pretty much answers that question.
Anyhow: this is a good-looking tutorial (although it would definitely benefit from losing the text drop-shadow as others have commented). There are one or two typos - you might want to run the text through Photoshop's spell-checker if you haven't rasterized the type.
As to the content, there seems to be a couple of occasions where you go off-track a bit. Rather than skimming over Layer Styles and Adjustment Layers in passing, it might have been better not to have mentioned them at all, since you don't actually use them in this tutorial. They are both pretty complicated areas, so you could maybe write some follow-up tutorials to specifically demonstrate their use.
Sorry if you think I'm being hyper-critical, but I do believe that there is an art to writing a good tutorial. I usually point people to the following article, which is probably the best advice I've ever read on this subject:
