When you take a picture, you want it primarily to have a good contrast. If you look at two images put together, each of them having a different level of contrast applied, most of the times the one with the richer contrast will appear more appealing to the observer. O BTW, the site looks really strange, way to many adds...and there are better sites with the same thing going.

Some of the tutorials seem to have waaaay too many steps in them - I know it's good practice to aim any tutorial at beginner's level to make sure you don't miss any vital steps, but I think if I were a Photoshop newbie I'd probably be put off by an 8-page/30-step tutorial on sharpening (especially when it doesn't even include Before and After shots so you can see what kind of effect you're aiming for).

Also, check out the Hand coloring a black and white photograph tutorial. A 10-page tutorial with, quite frankly, some of the ropiest-looking final images I've ever seen in an online tut. I suppose they're OK as far as they go, but as unleash said, there are lots of better tutorial sites around (not least of which is BioRUST, of course!).

It's T10. If that doesn't say much to You, then how about 100Mb/s.

Seems to works fine now. Don't know what caused it before.

As I merrily stumbled through the site, it only let me get about 4 pages in.
then I got a server reset messge.
thas ok tho. seemed a bit longwinded to me.
