Thumbs down Realistic bulletholes

Hi to everyone. This is the first time i'm writing a PS tutor, so please, be mercyfull . Also i'm not English so i'm already begging your pardon for probable mistakes. Ok, let's start.

1. Create a new image sized 512by512 px, 72 dpi. (File->New...)

2. Then press [b]D[b] button to set colors to default - (B&W) and make a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N).

Perform the following actions:
Filter > Render > Clouds
Filter > Render > Difference Clouds

3. Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur (with a radius of 4 px)
Filter > Sketch > Chrome: Detail - 10, Smoothness - 0

4. Open the Image menu , then select Adjustments > Levels and set everything as follows.

5. Now do this : Edit > Transform > Scale : make the image proportionally smaller by 50%

6. Make a new layer and set the foreground color black (#000000). Now take airbrush tool, select the Soft Round 100px brush and draw a black spot in the center of image.

7. Layer > Layer Style > Bevel and Emboss:

Style - inner bevel,
Technique - chisel soft,
Depth - 500%,
Size - 10px,
Soften - 0px,
Angle - 90 degrees,
Hightlight mode - Screen,
Hightlight color - #FFFFFF.

sry, but all the forum didn't let me to put all the imagesin one post. So i'm continuing.

8. Select the layer with metal (Layer 1). Using the Lasso tool create a cutten selection as it's shown on the followeing image.

9. Select > Inverse. Open the quick mask mode (Q).
Filter > Brush Strokes > Spatter : Spray Radius - 10, Smoothness - 5.

10. Quit the quick mask mode by pressing Q. Press "Delete" and add some shadow in Blending options > Drop Shadow.

Add some reflections and lighten up the image with Dodge tool and вуаля - your bullet hole is ready.

U can make metal texture like this very simple. Watch it:

1. New image 600x600 pixels, 72 dpi
2. Fill the image with grey color.

3. Filter > Noise > Add Noise

4. Filter > Blur > Motion Blur

TNX for ur attention, see ya next time. If you have any questions - knock me : 315-258.

Thanks, but I couldn't help but notice that several of your images directly hotlink to http://photoshop.demiart.ru ... on which this tutorial is also hosted. Unfortunately we shy away from posting other website's tutorials (without permission), as it gets us into a whole legal tangle, especially as the original author usually gets all angry and then tries to take it out on everyone here...

Ahhhhh, ok! Can I have the URL of the tutorial on demiart? I've tried finding it, but my Russian is a tad rusty!
