this is very useful tutorial ,often it is required for retouching.

Good tutorial! Nicely written.

One suggestion though: Instead of duplicating the layer (makes big files bigger and might slow down computer if user doesn't have enough RAM memory) try creating a new layer and checking the "All Layers" checkbox that appears at the top when using the healing tool.
