'Out Of Bounds' Images

Out of Bounds Tut

Great tut. Thank you very much. I hope you don't mind me making some suggestions. If you really want it to seem like the car is driving out of the picture then the front wheel would be pressing down on the frame and there wouldn't be any shadow there. Also, as a matter of preference, I would make the stroke around the frame a light gray. It will still make it stand out but it won't be that harsh. I have attached a possible version with the shadow under the wheel removed.

quite a simple manipulation and learned something new today

thanks for the powerful effect,Zapphnath! i love the way it looks.

however,i have some problems using the pen tool.i don't know how! lol

can you show a step by step for step 2? i realize it is for intermediates,but i am familiar somewhat with photoshop. i would really appreciate it if you could .thanks for doing the tut!

The Pen Tool is probably the hardest tool to learn to use properly in Photoshop, but it certainly repays the time spent once you have mastered it.

i've read the articles but i still need to see how this would be done. could anyone who has tried this effect walk me through it please?

Great suggestion, it does give it a more real effect.
