1. Check that the Color Mode of your image is
RGB, not
Grayscale.
2. Check your Channels Palette - make sure that the
RGB channel is selected (which automatically selects all the channels). If you only have one channel selected (
Red,
Green or
Blue) you will only be able to fill or paint in black, white or grey.
Linear Mode
