Hooray!!!

I can't begin to tell you how much I love this tutorial. It works perfectly and is so easy. I usually don't seem to follow directions well, but even I managed to do a great job with this. I really appreciate being able to get just about any color scheme. Keep up the good work!!!

Hello, I've been trying this tutorial out for a couple of hours now, but cant make it work with the "duplication of layers".

When I'm done with step 3, I duplicate the background layer (original layer) and I get a layer called background layer copy. I'm done so far!

I twirl the "background layer" to +120. Done! Thereafter I choose the background layer copy and twirl it for -180. Done!

Now, after that, I dont get same picture as in step 5, what am I doing wrong?
Could really use some help with the duplication thingy!

Are you remembering to change the layer blending modes? Oh, and don't be too worried if it doesn't look exactly the same - there is a random seed value in the filters themselves, so the result will always be a little different.

What shall I change in the blending options?
The thing you dont understand that I dont get multiply "pictures" of the twirlled warp in step 5.

After I've twirlled copy layer and the background - how should I "blend" the pictures together so I get multiply warps as in step 5?

gradient

personally, this is my favorite tutorial. but instead of doing hue/saturation. i added a new layer on top of everything. then i added a radial gradient from the middle (red and orage) then changed the blending mode to Overlay on that layer. i think it looks much better. but then again, thats just my opinion
