Domain Developers Fund

The site is still under construction, but almost finished, the main graphic work are the .com images on each of the pages, let me know what you think

Im sorry but what do you mean by "the .com images"?

For the rest, I think the site looks very professional, although I think it misses something catchy (something to remember it by). Cause the name itself is too long to really store in short term memory... So you need something to affiliate it with

well just my 2 cents!

My initial reaction (apart from get rid of the "splash screen"-type Legal Disclaimer pop-up. Everyone hates splash screens), is that the first page is DULL DULL DULL. A meaningless grey graph and big chunks of dreary text - this is not what visitors want to see when they first access a website. I'm sure you've heard the old web-design adage: "If the top don't pop, they won't stop". And unfortunately, this top doesn't pop.

Sorry if you think I'm being harsh, but you did ask.

The information is certainly there, and I love the menu! Tamlin is right, though, in that the outside of the design is very dull. Spruce up the white square outer container & give it a better background and it'll look much better.

we made some adjustments, we cannot take away the disclaimer because of legal issues, we can hardly cut the text for the same issues but we made a flash... how istit now ? better ?

Looks better, still lots of text on the front page... Maybe you could first have short story about the origin or something, and then link the viewers through towards the content! That way you could do the disclaimer when people are linked through, not the first second they arrive.

About the flash, looks cool, its catchy for sure. But there is no need to keep repeating it. Just add a play button of some kind...

Lots of sites include disclaimers and other legal bumf without requiring users to "Accept" them before entering. The tactic of having this pop up is not going to achieve anything other than annoying people and driving away potential visitors/customers. Also, as agentxi observed, the Accept/Decline thing doesn't even work properly in Firefox - it can easily be circumvented.
