Jacorre Design Studio V3!

It's been a long time since I've focused on my own websites. I decided it was about time to update the design. V2 was nice but it was very busy, especially the homepage. The color was not liked by many as well. So I have a new color scheme which I love.

Feedback is appreciated. Hope you like it. The Sound Studio and Blog will soon follow suit when I get a chance!

very cleanly done.
the only thing i would suggest is to maybe add a thin line around the inner window panes (the white area that has the current page) nothing too big, just a thin line with a simple flourish at the corner. i think it would go well with the theme of your background and tie it together. right now the white area has a bit of a "placemat" feeling to me. like it was just stuck there. adding something around it, not on its border, but somewhat inside from it.

Thanks for the feedback! I understand what you're saying. I was hoping to use a background image to provide a corner piece that separated the content from the sidebar but I was having issues with it when testing in multiple browsers. I'll see what I can do though!

I also updated Jacorre Sound Studio. Only thing left now is the blog!

The Jacorre Studios Blog is now done. Finally done with all three. Remind me not to do this again for another few years!

Jacorre,

The site looks great. Very clean and professional. I'm not a huge fan of the Google ads being it's a portfolio-type website, but it's still a well-developed site.

Great work!

Alex

I understand your point about the ads, but they help cover hosting costs. The majority of my visitors actually hit my tutorials first. I was thinking of only displaying ads to search engine visitors but that may affect revenue. I'd have to test. But thanks for the feedback!

I can understand that, can't afford hosting myself.
