New splash page

hey guys, i just finished a new splash page for my website. i hopefully will figure out a way to animate it so that the button gets depressed on mouse over...any suggestions???

I always wondered about intro screens. If anything they just get in the way of getting where you want to go and are a way to show off, and I'm never really impressed -- I just want to see the page!

However, it looks really good and the blues are pretty and smooth.

Once you click through I think the text field box is a little wide, I have to maximize to see it all, and I hate having to do that -- just a pet peeve. The hand thing is a very cool idea!!

What sort of depression do you want? Like it's plastic and you smooshed it with your finger? Or a regular inset button that is now inset more because you pressed it down?
