I am calling this attraction.. but as you can see.. I am no good at adding all the photoshop touches.. the render is simple.. but that is what I like about it
I will be posting the image I did first then in another post I will post the render's psd file for those who want to play with it.. consider it open to play with..

A very nice little render you have there Digital! The big orb seems a little too perfect for its own good though - how about giving it a swirly texture effect or a slight rough bump map?
Oh, and i've added PSD to the valid extensions now. You may still want to .zip it up though, because PSDs are uncompressed and can get quite large.

Nice work Digi.
This is all Photoshop right?
I like it. I'd change the BG color to probably a light blue if it were me though.
Overall it's very nice.

Hmm... you could probably do the spheres in Photoshop also and get nearly the exact same effect.

The reflections would be tricky.. believe me.. I have tried to make 3D spheres in Photoshop.. not easy for fun, although someone like m0g could most likely pull it off..

Photoshop is basically all patience. It is for me anyway. If you have something set in your mind you can do it.
If I ever finish my web layout I'll probably attempt something like that.
Subject2Failure v4 Progress:
Photoshop Layout - 75%
Coding - 5%
Splash - 5%
As you can see I have a lot to do. My goal is Thanksgiving but I'm not sure if I'll be able to reach it.
Should I show a sneak peek of my current progress?

Well, its possible, but its definately much smarter to use 3D programs for such effects. Photoshop's 3D effect filters are a bit basic to say the least! S2F is right tho - its all patience. In fact, sometimes I wish Photoshop would give me something looking wonderful WITHOUT hours of mind-bending toil...

Looks great, like the big one is pulling the little ones. ATTRACTION =]. My opinion, but blurring the side of the little balls that are closest to the big balls would make it look like they're being pulled.
Anyway, to be redundant, looks really good.
I'd love to see your progress ^^
