First Attempt of Cartooning
I took some low quality pics with my web cam for this project. I think maybe I'll use my good camera next time. Anyway here are my results. I have to thank this tutorial for the hair. Here are the results:

Great work, especially for an first attempt!!!

Anyway, the eye looks a bit to big. Maybe you should remove the part that's right of the pupil..if you get what I mean I have to agree with charmed about the hair, it does look great!

Yeah - they eye was a bit funky - I have an excuse! it was really late and my eyelids were all puffy and stuff - so I made up part of the eye. I'll do a better attempt, I'm geting all "gussied up" tonight so I'll take a few pics to color on. We'll see how they turn out, especially with a higher resolution. And the hair! I re-did it 4 or 5 times till I was happy, and I never did get the smudge right.

wooo hoooo..i loves smudge thing..good first attempt...if you want the hair look like rebonding hair i suggest that you use this brushes...apply 10% strength when smudging..smudge at the edge of the hair...it will become more smooth and natural...i used this brushes alot...

Well looking forward to that:P

Anyway, maybe you could smudge that hair more as one, and than add details to it...I don't know what your routine is at the moment, but I find it more rewarding to make one big blonde spot with a lot of detail than to make al single hairs with less details. If you catch my drift:P

Much harder on a hig res picture. I;m going to need a little more practice, and I will try out those other brushes.
