Na what I mean is I'm used to the detail of raster and I'm just having to get used to using Illustrator.

Ditto here Yusecki! I should really publish some tutorials on Illustrator... but i'm a n00b myself when it comes to vector graphics. Kinda like the blind leading the blind!

You know I only recently found out what n00b meant- I thought it was something quite, quite different...

i figured since we were looking for a new logo, why not a new header as well? theres a contest going on in a friend of mines forum for designing a new header for them. so i threw something together quick.

then i thought, why not throw biorust on there and see how she looks

well, heres the header and a link to how it would look on the exsiting biorust layout.

I must say that i'm taken aback by the quality and quantity of the logos currently submitted - I never expected such an enthusiastic response! With just under two weeks left, there is still everything to play for - so get those submissions in before its too late!

PS. Sounds like a nice idea Rson. Alas the forums scripts do not currently allow replacement headers to go in easily. I'm intending to add something cool to Biorust v4 tho that allows variable user-submitted bits. More news as I get that far...

I have an idea for this, but I can't seem to get it to work. I think it would be cool to make the logo a mix between a satellite dish and a flower. Seems fitting enough. Just an idea for someone with more vector skills than me. Maybe this would be a better image manipulation. That might look cool on a header.

Yeah, I was thinking that might make an awesome logo too! I was also thinking of extending the competition deadline as most of you lot have been horridly enaged with exams recently. I'll have a think on it and let u know what i decide...

In response to a number of comments I have decided to extend the deadline to this competition until 23:59pm on 16th July. Everyone will have finished exams and stuff by then, so there will be no excuse for not submitting your logos in time!

Well.. My goal was to keep it simple and clean...

I attached it here, 'cause I had some troubles uploading it in the gallery. When I try to upload a gif it says it is a wrong format and when I upload a jpg I get a 404.
