My First Illustrator Portrait
This is my mother-in-law...its my first..and probably my last attempt at doing portraits..but the techniques i will use forever...i took out the nasty 70's background..and tried my best with her hair..it is just so fuzzy..frustrating

dont be so frustrated queen..you just need to learn a few technique on how to make your own custom brush..i think you can download those brushes at the download section..this is few tips from my friend to me ..and i pass on to you.." the big challenge to make hair is 'patient' "...its time consuming..but never give up..ok!

As you recognized, the hair still needs a bit of work, but the rest is outstanding. Excellent for a first attempt.

youre welcome..i`m happy to help..everybody in biorust is happy to help each other..thats why i stick here everyday..its my playground now...

after you finish your artwork..why dont you post it in the gallery..let the others see your artwork and do some comment...those comments will motivated you to improve your artwork and your skill better and better...
