Good point. I started by following this tutorial.
[BioRUST Design Community] :: WebIndex > View > Melissa Clifton I mainly used the pen tool just like in the tutorial but I used the transparent adjustment more and overlapped my colors. I used the freehand pen allot. I did use the paint brush tool for some shading in the eye. I did not go to the same detail as what is in the tutorial because it was my first and wanted to see it finished. I think having a little art background helped me with how to block out the colors. This tutorial is great I liked how this turned out so much I plan to do several more. I plan to very my style a little more and use different techniques with the next one and spend a little more time and smooth out my shapes more.
