I have been told here that my depictions of Jesus look too western. Geneticists say that the DNA of Kurds and Armenians (the people from the land that Abraham came from) are closest to the ancient Israelite. So, I did this piece using the face of an Armenian actor as reference. What do you think? I think this one turned out looking a little too flat, or something...
At my site, I have details about why artists depict Jesus in the manner that they do - why a beard, long hair, pretty eyes, etc.? There is a scriptural and historical foundation for these things.
