Hey and welcome to biorust, rtouch.
Anyways... Back to business.
I really just totally love the girl in the bottom corner. It's just such a great idea i might have to rip it one day (not in the near future).
Otherwyse also nice, but... it... I just cant describe it. It needs that something to get from a good design to a great design. Work on it

I wanted to post here some time ago but I kept forgetting, so here it is

Looks good so far, but I don't think its finished yet(what is?)
anyways I really like the girl in the bottom, as well as the way some of your work is directly accessible from the main page!! the banner and colors are also good.

But, yes here it is, if I look at one of the pictures in the main page, the page gets a bit messy spaces between graphics appear that shouldn't be there, like a space between the banner and nav bar and between the nav bar and the content.
Then secondly, I'm not really fond of the scroll over on your buttons, but that could be just me because they work perfectly....
and last, the site looks somewhat empty.....but this can off course also be me

O and I think this is what turvas meant to say, you're site is good but it needs some improvements so it can be great. Right turvas? And I think it is a great first try, if you need anything like scripting or so, maybe you should have a look around at this site

Looks indeed better,
I really like the layout, and the navigation.....I do have some points, you might want to adjust:

-Your sneak peak, I would make it bigger so you can really see the difference....and the quality of the picture...Now I've some problems with viewing it right, It occurs to me that the thumbnails are pixelated but this could be just me...

-I have a double header, one that is part of the rest and is centred, I believe that, that one is where it should be, then there is a second one of the same size in the top left corner, and I do think you should get rid of it, if it was part of the lay-out and not a bug...

-The gallery looks great, but I would make a navigation between categories if you are in one of them, so for example you are in the wallpaper section and you want to go to retouching. Now you have to go back to gallery and click the retouch button, I think it's better to have a list of links to all you're 'sections' in the bottom. So that someone can navigate directly between sections.

I really like the site and I know these are mainly just fixes, but I believe that if you're planning on earning money with it you can better be a perfectionist...

Well just my 0,02€

PS: just one more thing, I would put a link to you're email on the front-page together with you're services.....Like a third 'cell' which contains info on what you do, and for what price.

I hate to be the one to tell you this...cuz I always hate it when people tell me this...but you spelled Photomanipulation wrong, and Contact (menu button)*ducks for flying bullets*

Now that my spellchecker is off...

I really like the site rtouch, Very clean and cool looking. Very sexy subtle use of gradients. I really like the abstract banner. I'm not sure about the gallery, when you have your bottem thumbnails they don't look as good because they are being stretched, try a cropped/close-up something to intice people to look further. As a further reminder of your potential clients to get a hold of you, you may want to run some contact information at a footer on the bottem of the page. I don't know if it's just my browser, but the page loads very right of center when you first go in, and a quarter of the page is cut off till I scroll to the right.

As always i've liked your photomanipulations, (even though I prefer every before picture of the women in there, because I think they are all beautiful without the retouching. But being in this day and age you need to retouch in order to get them in the market, kudos to you for finding something your good at, and is needed in the market.) I'm glad you are able to get your portfolio up and into the world.

Again lovely site! great work rtouch.

Actually, I spotted a few more typos. I think you need to get someone to proof-read the whole site.

The graphics are clean and the navigation is easy to use, but a couple of constructive suggestions that might help you out.

First, get rid of the music unless you composed it yourself. It is a bit more of an annoyance than just about any other thing with websites. Especailly for people who browse with iTunes on in the background or any other music/tv etc in the background at the house/office.

Apart from that, you should seriously consider using different type for the headers and bolder type for the copy. White type is hard to read especially with higher screen resolutions and the light headers just seem not to fit with the hard-edged design of the site.

Overall, the colors and style is great. Just a few modifications and a bit of revisiting to the type and a proofreading of the copy and you'll have a much improved site.

I can agree on that music! Very annoying to start to look for the stop button.
But the graphic looks really good! You might try some different type colors, as Stiney recommended.
And I know Passagen is a free place, but the ads doesn´t look so well.
If you have broadband, most of the suppliers here in Sweden will provide up to 5 free WebPages (ComHem, Bredbandsbolaget osv.) For free. So why not check it out? You might pay for more than you know.
And no ads…

Your retouching skill rock! You really must do a "how to" on that one. The eyes and hair are amazing! Great job!
