I am soon to open my own tutorial/portfolio site.
Please comment on it excepting the following:

• Content/Writing is fake
• The orange layout color my be lightened for easier reading
• the forums are still not completely coded

I am now on step 2 of my sites production, the feedback. Step 3 is to actually add my content.

I like the page as a whole but the font is really hard to read. Gives me a headache. :P

Very pretty. Because of the palms, the green felt most "right", however, I preferred the blue because of readability and such. But even that font had horribly low contrast to background... As Bub said, gives me a headache. But very nice overall.
Have you considered placing content in an iframe, or using actual frames? Because now, when clicking to a new section, the bars on the right side flash off before they reload... That might just be me, but it'd not be a problem with frames. Just a detail

blue is by far the nicest skin.

Keep it coming, it still doesn't look finished in my opinion. I do like it though.

Random quotes, well, kinda weird, but a cool idea, I suppose. I was thinking of doing something similar myself on one fo my sites, but abandoned it. Not sure why. Could be good

A nice simple design, but its hard to judge effectively without even a little bit of content. Oh, and I really don't like the way the CSS mouseovers are bigger than the normal link formatting - it pushes the text around and that looks a bit unprofessional IMHO.

Looks sweet, great work. Color switching is nice, but perhaps make one that uses multiple colours. Other than that, the copyright is ugly (it shouldnt be just black) and the bars to the right should go too, and be replaced by a gradient that blends into the background.

Could use some work to refine the look, the top image of off in FireFox, perhaps tweak the position of it, otherwise, nice use of php to create a style switcher, but add error control, so someone cannot change the color to a non designed color scheme and have the site fail miserably.

No cookies to set the design for later visits? and that may work, but you need to do checks on $_GET['s'] to make sure it is either green, blue, or red (it is red right..)..
