Lookin good...

You definately should consider taking the bold off the main content....

And Verdana is not a preferred choice... arial or tahoma are better choices for a small font size...

Just some tips

Mike

I liked the green, a shame you changed that for the blue. Blue is way colder and more distant than green.

Anyway's, I think if you would get enough links up there, it will be a great tutorials site very clean and readable!!

but change the blue

It may be common, but I think I like the "dark" version the best.

I find the dark not so good, but blue or green.... I think i would go with green. It looks fresher.

I agree with chuggs... I like the dark the best of the three, with Green being my #2...

No reason you can't give your users the choice though.

Going 100% width will give users with high screen res's a chance to view more content without scrolling, but your 800x600 users won't see the benefit, and elastic setups can mis-behave if you're not experienced in CSS...

I'm all for fixed widths

Mike.

Hmm, I must agree with notjustgraphics...

the dark version is the best, the green one is second and the blue last....in my mind:F
Anyways, as said before fixed widths....way easier...and because its you're first website..

thanks for comments guys, sorry i've not been able to reply i have been quite busy lately with various things. Yeah i suppose giving them an option on what colour they want may be a good idea, and i'll stick to fixed widths too as well

I just joined and started reading the threads. It was quite nice seeing you do it from the layout to the final working site, congrats. If I would pick a color, I would stick to green IMO. Always keep it fresh and clean.
