Question A Little Criticism requested...

Alright, first time even contemplating touching Photoshop or any other graphic medium for that matter...read through a couple of tuts this evening, and put nose to the grindstone on my first ever attempt at a sig. So any comments you may have feel free to let them fly. Any thoughts on what I should or should not be doing from this day forward are welcome.

Many thanks,

~Noriyuki

Shades of pink / magenta aren't colors that I regularly work with, but that's only out of personal preference. You've got an interesting background there, overlaid by a clean and simple dot matrix to give it more depth, all kept tidy by a simple one pixel border. The font choice matches this layout well. I don't see any reason why you couldn't use this signature as is or use it as the foundation for a more complex work with some sort of subject matter to it. Nice job!

It's a good start - the only comment I would make is that you'll need to resize it if you want to use it as a sig at BioRUST. Image size should be no bigger than 520px in width, 100px in height, and 75kb in filesize.

I personally prefer smaller sigs, but it's all preference. The overall look is pretty good. My only comment/concern (apart from the size/height) is the name. It is completely lost at that small of size in the top left. I know you don't want it to dominate, but on my screen size it is hardly even visible.

Perhaps you could try making it bigger, or better yet, see if you can use the dot matrix with a contrasting color to spell out the name. (just a thought, not sure if it would work)

I like it!

I would like to see it in some blue or green shades though
