Jesus wept.

I have a colored version of this. But I like the pencil much better for some reason. What do you think? Did this with pencil and blending stump, as well as B&W digital painting. If you want to see the colored version, go here:

Jesus wept.

It is a Christian site...but I think you can enjoy the sites and sounds, even if your are pagan

I really like the pencil version, although I think the dark stroke on the outside of it is far too harsh. It draws the eye away from the subject because it stands out so much from the rest of the shading.

I'd have to agree on Stiney on this one. The outlines are pretty thick and dark, besides that this is a wonderful drawing. The detail in the goatee and texture on the clothing is awesome. Keep drawing I'd like to see more!

I have to agree with the other guys about the outline, but apart from that - outstanding! I'm not an artist, but I've heard that the hand is one of the most difficult things to draw realistically. However, the ones you've drawn here are perfect. You have an incredible skill.

This is very beautifully done. I like the B&W verion much better. The eyes are what really stand out to me and draw me in. Very nicely done

I like the black and white one better as well, it just seems more dramatic though I think with the color the outline stands out less. Very well done.
