Starfield Experiment

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/7342788/

Landscape using terragen, rest pure photoshop except a little bit of photo manip with a cloud image

Unfinished work - just want C&C so that I can improve on it (it's my first space type image)

Very nice work you have here R4z0r! I can't help but think that it could look better as two seperate art pieces though (i.e. the top and the bottom end). At the moment it seems joined together by a little starfield expanse, and that looks strange at lower resolutions.

Keep up the good work, though, and be sure to post the piccie in the gallery when you're done!

Yeah great peice. I do see what m0g is saying though. Looks like two peices until i open the image bigger and see the cloud barrier. almost looks like a slice image like you see in maps of the earths crust except this is all tricked out and yeah....understand?

Who do you use as your ISP BTW r4z0r? I'm always looking for cheaper/better deals!

I would SO not recommend my current host - I'm wanting to swap as soon as I can find a decent one - if anyone has any recommendations I'd appreciate it

Well, I use hostcentric.com and find them ok... although you need to make sure you know at least a little about linux before signing up, as they won't manage your updates in any way. I've also been looking at servermatrix.com recently, although i've heard that their customer support is... questionable...

Or you could always buddy up with someone and go halvsies with a really nice dedicated server. It all depends how much cash you want to spend really...
