I am currently just testing around with AJAX (script.acu.lous). And there's a damn problem: the background image doesn't load fast enough on low bandwiths (i've got 25mbit)

Maybe you can preload the background. Good start to the site.

like the start of it,
oh, I would change teh button a bit......but that's just me.
