I find your background is fighting with your subject. I would suggest playing with your composition lines and colors, to help bring your subject to the attention of the viewer, right now my eyes don't know what to look at.

Now artistically, I find your female subject in good proportions, I would like to see the other wing somewheres, unless she's supposed to have a single wing.

Besides that a very SOLID start keep it up, looking forward to your updates!

I have to agree with agentxi there, background is to busy. Calm it down and you might work some on the model, she has a nice relaxed classic position, so it could work well!

Very nice start indded.
While I personally don't find the background too busy, you're comp seems to suggest 2 light sources. It would be very nice to see the scene with that in mind.
Oh yeah, you should really consider taking out that lens flare. Perhaps peoples eyes would find the overall work less abrupt.
