Role Play Signatures

I'm a member of several Role Playing Forums and I design signatures for myself and [sometimes] other members as well.

I've been trying a new technique. I used to be very simple with my signatures, layer 2 to 3 photos with a name and a quote..maybe a border but I've been playing around in photoshop a bit more and I've been forcing myself to put more time into it.

Today's piece I worked on [on and off] all day. Here's what I finally came up with.

It's part of a Rome/300 Story Line, pretty fictional. The lyrics are from a three days grace song that my media player played (on shuffle) while I was working.

Oh yeah, here was one I made yesterday. I don't like it as much as the one I just finished, I might come back to this one and make it better...

Lyrics are from a Within Temptation song called "Ice Queen".
Just one of my fav bands really and it worked for the character.

I think they are great, but they are huge for sigs, of course, I think I am the only one who doesn't like them that big. But with that said I think you did a great job on them both.

No Chica-X you are not the only one who is annoyed be oversized signiatures!

Your work is fantastic alifirecat, but your signiatures do violate the BioRUST Forum Rules...

Excerpt here:

No oversized signatures: A signature is a privilege, not a right. Please do not anger other users by setting enormous signitures. A maximum of 5 lines of text is usually regarded as the upper limit. If you use an image as your signiture, limit its size to no bigger than 520px in width, 100px in height, and 75kb in filesize. Breaking these rules may lead to suspension of your signature abilities until you learn how to use them properly.

Please consider reducing the size of your signature... but by all means.. keep up the great art!

Yeah - I'm with Chica and Mike. Monster sigs are a pain (although I normally have Show Signatures turned off, so I don't see them).

Having said that, your images are really good - just a bit huge.
