Avril Lavigne illustration - work in progress

This is an experiment, I wanted to try that kind of shading.
I'm satisfied with the results so far, but I would like to know what do you think of it, what you would change, what you like and what you don't.

Thanks for any feedback.

I think that it would look better, if it would have some shadow on the hair and some shadow on the tie. Oh and i love those metal spikes.

yes... if you get the shade hair the same way and add maybe a tad more detail to clothing... this will rock

heck... I don't even care much for the subject but I like the look and style you have going there a lot... makes me want to get a tablet even more

hey Gaseus Snake it's lookin pretty cool, personally i would stay away from using pure white on anything...especially highlights on skin but that's a good start so far, keep goin on it, can't wait to see it finished

It's looking good. Maybe you could soften the color gradients on the face as right now she looks to be around 70 years old. Especially around the eyes.

Awesome job on this. Love the details on the bracelets, etc on the arms. Agree with adding details to the hair and tone down the highlights on the face.

Definitely! The lines/shading on the face is too harsh - makes her look like an old woman.

He, thanks everybody.

Yes, since everybody's telling me that she seems too old, i will reduce the lines on her face, lol

and of course i'll make details all over the image

i think this'll be my most detailed image, ever. lol

It looks good!, you should try not to leave the colors so distant, because she looks with some little wrinkles.
Any way, nice job!
