Yuneek vs. Stiker

It's getting too boring around here.

Size: 400x400 - 600x600, anywhere in between.
Rounds: 5
Style: Grunge
Subject: None

Photoshop only. No stock photos.

Did I forget anything?

grunge?

Give me a idea of grunge and i will battle. Not very good but what the hell i am up for it! bring it

Edit: Forgot to mention, i have PScs. If this is not the version you have and there are techniques, filters, what ever that i might have an advantage with let me know and i will not use. But i imagen this wont be a problem. Novice battleing with a master should be fun

Did you just call me a master of Photoshop?

Not quite, but I'm working my way there. (Sort-of). Hey, if you want to jump on this battle, so be it, I'm good with that.

Grunge is a dirty, broken, molded, aged look - to the best of my explanations.

An example would be...

http://forums.biorust.com/attachment...ttachmentid=64

Get the idea?

Not the best example, but hopefully you pick up on the idea.

I'll tell you what, you start, and I'll let you know if you get the grunge effect correctly or not. When you do, I'll reply with one of my own.

Sound good?

Well, the stars fall more under the vector category, as the 'spikes' are more trendwhore bot the black on white background is grungy. Good first try. I would tip you off on a few things, but I'll wait until AFTER the battle.

Okay, I came up with a little something, I am kind of tired (4 hours sleep or so) and I have a bad case of the flu (m0g should know, ) so excuse me if I'm not doing so hot today, but we'll see, you might like it.

Also, might want to watch your language, but yes it is pretty fun!

Not very grungy, once again, you are working away from the grunge a little bit, but don't worry about it man, its all for the fun and learning!

I'll try to reply with one tonight, but I doubt it until tomorrow or possibly longer. I will be building my new computer tomorrow, so that will take a lot of time, all depends on how smooth life goes.

Good work though and can't wait to keep this going.

As for the blood... *Hint* Suicide Set *Hint*

Yuneek

Yeah, as before no real backround with grunge, i guess it is i will see what i can come up with and you show me what grunge can come out like yeah i am having a lot of fun with this. Learning a bunch about layers and placement. Yeah and no hurry on you at all, i just had a lot of free time today. I am interested in seeing how *real* grunge is put together. i guess i will just have to be patient.

I'm no amazing grunge artist, hence why I wanted to battle in it to improve, but I just use generic brushes to make it, honestly. I wish I knew how to do more, hopefully will by the end of this battle.
