party poster in progress

I have to make a poster for a party of a friend of me, and I could use some suggestions =)
I already got something, some brushes and vectors.
It will be printed on orange paper, so I made the background orange...

What do you mean by "double posting"? If you mean posting the same message in more than one forum, then I would say that, although it isn't expressly forbidden, it will not be looked upon kindly and may be viewed by some as spam (which is definitely not welcome!).

The innuendo is cute, the images are fine, but it's nothing without any content.

If you plan on printing it on orange paper, I would design it without the background (you may have already done this).

Is there anything that will be added to this? It's a good start, but kind of barren.

date, place, dj's, and stuff..

I just did the orange thing so I could see how the printed version would be.

I like it's retro feel and love the colours, the only thing that is doing my nut in is the far right sun ray because it's thinner than the rest. I'd either move the darker one over to act as a frame, or move it left so the orange/blank one is larger.

This might not be a design error on your part and purely a psychological one on mine.

Funny, I was looking at the dark lines as the sun ray and the light ones as the background. Everyone sees things differently I guess.

I like that, I don't like the text though and I would try adding a bit more to it but it's still nice so far.

I like it and it would look better with more added to it, Remember a painting(or piece of art) is never done, it could always be worked on
