Im creating an like elvish temple...under the ground but the technology is like in the year 2300 and the building style is from 2000(BC)

I got the first image here, and i want to add something to the scene. But i don't know what, i'm building a robot that will function as gaurdian but what else...

all ideas are more then welcome

What about small balls of light suspended between the forks of the "claw like" things that line the wall...

For lack of a better description and so that you know what I am referring to, one could say they look like coat racks.

I agree, a nice glowing orb floating in between each of those claws would be a nice futuristic light source. How about a sliding door type thing instead of just an open space ahead?

There is a sliding door in the scene actualy. The entrance(first pic) has a doors but they are open at the moment.

And about the orbs....i agree that's a grait idea.

is this done in a 3D rendering program? whats it for precisely? knowing what you are trying to do will help me come up with suggestions.

It's all made in maya, except for the textures(one) wich is made in photoshop.....does that help?

ah, well I wanted to know that and:
is this a game, movie? whats the premise behind it?

Just some thoughts ...

Maybe a hint of the object/person/thing that is being guarded?
Some Elvish symbols carved in the wall or around the archway.
Something that is slightly imperfect.
Something in the reflection (wall, floor) that isn't 'in' the scene.

well...my first impression when i saw the pic (2nd one) was that everything in it is slightly transparent. The overall yellowish color is to omniprezent. Maybe u could try different combinations or at least try a combination (besides yellow and black.

perhaps the color could be utilized in some runes or carvings on the floor....

Yep, the yellowis was from the lighting.....wich wasn't very good at the time
Im working on that part now, About the transparent....that isn't true nothing is transparant.

About the carvings i did already think about something alike(just searching some good fonts or something alike).

To Chamenas,
In the end i want to make a movie thing out of it, because for a game you need someone who knows coding.....

And to MoodsR4Cattle,
the object being gaurded isn't in the hallway it is in the main room, wich isn't finished yet. The object itself is still a mystery(even for me). And what do you mean with slightly imperfect?

I really like Moods4Cattle's idea of having Elvish Symbols engraved into the wall panels... like Runes (as Chamenas suggests)

Please be sure to post another version when you're done with it... I'd love to see how it ultimately turns out.

maybe the transparent illusion is caused because u have a reflective material applied to the walls and floor? if it's the case try to use a fallof reflection.

Well this is like stage2. i added some light and im busy with the engravements

I would not have thought to use green for the orbs... but it definately works!
