A nice design m8. The side panels could do with a little sprucing up and a few better colours need to be picked, but the content is there... and thats what counts.

PS. Oh, and it views 95% fine in Opera too. You may want to take a look at your pages in Opera to mend the odd text alignment problem though.

Too carbon fiber-ish. I can tell you used a carbon fiber tutorial and implemented it into your design.

And I have to agree with what m0g and Ev said already.

Our forum has now become a really serious place for c&c we are now alot more specific in our posts, which in the long run is a good thing for the person who starts the thread. Its a pretty good site. Yeah the colour scheme isnt great but its okay. You pretty good at photoshopping whoring, start to learn other things apart from applying filters all over the place, Photoshop is compositioning tool, not a tool to make work from scratch on.

I like the design but the wallpapers seem abit sucky.

Keep at it.

Color scheme needs work, first of all.
Second, the polygonal tool shapes with drop shadow all over the place are not cutting it.
Now, the banner seems like a piece of a wallpaper cut out to fit the size of a header and some text thrown on top.
I don't have any idea why, but half of the time I get padding on the poll and the other half I don't.
The grey/black dotted background inside the layout is very distracting and takes away from the layout.
7 boxes on the main page confuses most. To web designers, it's alright, but you want to fit everyone in the audience, don't you? Web designers aren't going to be confused if you make it more simple, and regular people will understand, so that would be a good move.
Matching colors, the header blues for each box do not match the blue in the banner.
Blue text and text grey text on grey scanlines is weird.
The layout is too wide for the majority of resolutions.

Overall, you need to settle to a more simplistic move. Simplistic is now. It's what is in and its what designers like.

Good luck.

no it's not what designers like... it's what everybody likes. yuneek is right, simplistic is the best right now, not enough people are using that kind of easy to navigate simple beutiful site. not to mention that if you use CSS to make them, they can validate . and i'm sure that's what we all really want.
