show off your terragen

this is a new thread aimed at showing off your terragen landscapes. It looks like at the moment me, evdawg and r4z0r have all opted to use this program.

Well lets see what every one has created in this thread, every time some one creates a new terragen landscape they should be shown off here.

Heres my first creation, nothing special but it looks cool.

So lets see yours!

here is a web link to download terragen,

http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen/download.shtml

I love this program so much now, but people always seem to know when you have used it. It produces photorealistic results but people always know its terragen.

i think that's cuz they're really really good, doing something like that in 3DSMAX or Realsoft would be very very hard.

Yea, I've never heard of Terragen before r4zor posted his creations. Anyway, I had to see what it was about so I got it. These are my first 2 creations:

I've always liked terragen myself, but I think the results usually end up looking a bit 'samey' How about using a little photoshop wizardry after the landscape has been created to add birds, planes, settlements, etc? That'd make things much more lively... ;p

well actually you dont need all of that stuff. You can achieve very good results with just the standard tools like shown here.

this is probably the best peice of terragen work i have ever seen.

WOW! thats a very nice picture. I may give this terragen thingie a go this weekend. I'm sure a tutorial or two on it might not hurt either if I grow to like it....

Those are utterly awesome, some of the best work ive ever seen.

According to some forum i am, your images at the begginning may look good but to get a professional and truly unique result, you have to be using terragen for about four years!

Terragen has incredible capabilities, it's just a matter of you taking advantage of them. I've seen some great works but then again, a lot of can look the same. The ones r4z0r posted are really ince.
