Use gradients in the categories, as the bland orange makes it hard to see.

Heh, pretty nice! The white background doesn't quite suit the orangeness of it all though - try adding a sunburst background or something...

What exactly is a sunburst background? I don't think the images would work with that, as they have white.

Looking good Alex. How about a background kind of like the BioRUST forum's bg. Dark orange to a lighter orange. (Just like the forum's blue gradient bg with scanlines.)

I'm not really sure how to code that... plus my images have white imcorperated into them, so that would make it hard.
