My first good 3D render

hey ppl, a long time ago, i posted here for help on how get started on learning 3D. well now iam back and i've accomplished something by working hard and making my very first good render. C&C please. the link to image is here and its also in the gallery.

well...in the first place it lacks detail but so did my first render with 3ds max. so don''t worry bout it. the thing is u don't have to make a lot af models to have a great image it's how u texture and postproces them that makes an image a great image. try downloading hires texture maps from mayang.com they are free and very nicely done. also try to add detail in the modelling meaning to increase the number of poligons...and last but not least...try to not make it perfect. a realistic image isn't a perfect one.

looks good except somethings....
first i think you did a great job on the closet really loks good, but the curtains are a bit strange, have you conciderd just make a plane and then put a texture at work? I think that will make those curtains look a bit better the rest is pretty good. and ofcourse the thing that ovidiua2003 said are true but one step at a time and you will come very far

thanks man, the curtains i redid with Nurbs but havent uploaded it yet. But probably the next image will be with everything in my room, i.e (tv, computer). everything that makes up the room.
