static regeneration
some thing really special,
probably my best and most complex render ever,
over 150,000 polygons,
three different surface effects combined including, plasrtic, brushed steel and a Gi_shader.
it also had a hdri map, which failed. A hdri map is when the 3d model has been made so it doesnt need a light source and it still looks very bright, as if it has been rendered using four lights.
overall i am very pleased. This is the rendering without any airbrushing, i wont air brush it since it looks so good without it.

c&c welcome,

"c&c welcome" haha. It's amazing. Great great great job. It's so cool. Those tentacles are everywhere on the internet, but I think this peice re-invents tentacles in a really cool way. It looks like some kind of crazy tree exploding into a bunch of other crazy trees.

Looks neat. It's pretty original. Some reason it reminds me of like Medusa. żo.O?
Looks also like a little flower. Nice abstract, good job.

VERY nice m8! It almost has a feeling of motion to it, and the modelling work is just spot on.

Hey Marc, I had a random thought. Does this mean your graphics PC works now? Or you have a new PC?

Dang. Still no graphics PC? Hrmmm Marc you're switching to Mac? Or do you already have Macs?
I personally hate Macs. They don't live up to my standards. I can't multitask for sh*t on Macs. Crashes too easily.

well picture this,
macintosh pc's are mainly used for graphics design. the reason for this is that they have been used for graphic design ever since the pixel was created. Artists since then have embraced macs. i want a mac since that they are far more powerful when it comes to editing things in photoshop. A 1.2 ghz ibook can defeat my home 1.8ghz machine with ease when it comes to resizing a 600mb image. They look the bussiness and they are respected to be the greatest machine to use in the graphic industry.

Yeah, I know there's a lot of hype about Mac's being used for Graphics/Video editting. I'd still prefer a nice PC instead. Although, I haven't really used OS X for Macs. I've used OS 9 I believe. I tried OS X a few times, the look and feel was neat, but I've hated Macs ever since the moment the first Mac I used crashed on me a bazillion times.

yeah i love macintosh machines a for simple reasons. they look really nice and they feel great to use. I am starting to do more conceptual drawings than 3d modelling. I shall do more conceptual drawings since i am getting good at them and my mind is filled with dark inspiration that is pretty well suited to drawing.
I will still do 3d modelling but with some program called poser. It is mainly used for creating humans etc. So a mac is perfectly suited for what i want to do.

Nowt wrong with macs! I mainly stick with a PC because I need universal compatability with office apps and games. Still, who knows... I may be rich enough eventually to have both machines! =D

I'm getting a new computer soon.. what I do on my computer usually consists of graphics, coding and browsing the web. Listening to music. Instant messaging. Should I get Mac or PC?
