Thank you for the comments guys: It is pretty easy to do this kind of work, just do the following:
1- Get a picture of an open rose
2- Make a copy of the background
3- Using the copy... Start selecting one petal at a time, start at the center with the small petals.... Now, with the selection made... Use the eye droper to select the darkest colors and just paint that area with a soft brush that suites the area to paint... a 13 or a 15 size might work well
4- Use the eye dropper to get colors from the petal to paint, and just paint around, overlapping colors, diminishing transparencies... I used a 25% transparency some times... "DO NOT SMUDGE" the area, jus paint over the selection.
REMEMBER that keeping the layers in the right place you will control the overlapping of the petals. You can flatten layers, when you are sure that everything looks good!
Do not change the background. Keep the final rose, in a layer. Select the rose and blur the background to make the rose more attracting.
That's it! I wish you all the best.
