You could try anti-aliasing. Because most of the edges are very sharp/jagged-y.
Also, the curve layer is a good way to bring about a balance.

I like it. Could be a poster for a concert or a festival. The only thing I don't like about it is the text. It looks bad so if you want you could try to improve or then leave it out of it. Images don't need any text at all. That's what the title is for

it lacks depth and it seems overly "PS Filtered" to me. but it is a good start.

The top section works very well. But there seems to be too many colors getting into the bottom section. Stick with shades of similar colors, but not too many. It becomes disjunctive (unless that's what you're trying to achieve). The text definitely needs some work. Maybe try a different font and keep it flat (the bevel is too extreme) or perhaps try knocking it out of the picture similar to the way you did the note in the bottom right.

I like the concept, just needs a little polishing and you're home free.

I like the background image of the trombone, but the font is too beveled. Or msaybe it's just too glossy -- I don't know what it is really. Other than the font, it looks good to me.

I feel that it looks great. I like the whole feel of it. Everything fits for me and well I find nothing bad to say about it. The text is the only thing that I would say based on my opinions is kind of left out a bit into the shadow. Very good job though.
