You could make the same gradient (sans flowers). You would only need a long thin strip of it (longer than your image so there would be no repeat on a large monitor). For variety, you could invert the gradient. The gradient could be either the same, lighter or darker than your image as well.
Just a thought.

I don't see any gradient problems and the site is looking good!
The only thing that bugs me, is the horizontal scroll on the services page. The graphics between are a bit ragged at the edges, but I know that's hard to avoid with a gif.

Just a quick note, the <iframe> background image does not appear on Opera 9, it is just solid white. It looks like there is some conflict in the css code. You have:
Code:
<LINK REL="STYLESHEET" TYPE="text/css" HREF="http://www.faceitsalon.com/faceitsalon.css">
But that link goes nowhere. The .css page can't be found.
Code:
<style><!-- BODY {
background-color: transparent;
background-image: url(images/index_14.jpg);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
background-attachment:fixed;
} --> </style>
You then have this, but the problem here is that the css is being commented out by the <!-- and -->. Not quite sure why they are there. Maybe try taking them off. Could fix this problem.

You know what to be honest with you I dont know why there is a css file for her page. i dont think I made anything. I cannot think of anything that I made for a css file. As for the services page, I know Ive been meaning to fix that. Trust me it bugs the sh*t out of me too. Ill fix that later tonite. I was so tiered in my last post I was trying to explain how to fix the jagged gif headers. you know, services, f&q ect.. how can i fix that? As for the gradient I didnt try that yet. But how can I make it so that it fits perfectly matched with the layouts background? thanks guys I appreciate everything youve inputted.

I took out the <-- & --> and it took out the background. Opera might not support transparency?? Its a witch to upload her things because when I make changes I have to erase the file and then reupload. I cant use regular FTP program because I have to upload her files through Ipowers admin system which sucks. I hate her host and she knows it but were working on getting to to godaddy. She wants godaddy, what do you guys think about them? As for the scroll bar on the bottom, one of the image borders that I made is making it hard for me to fix that but ill do something about it later on. I gotta eat.. thanks guys!!!!

?
Why don't you put the same color as you have. The lavender purple-ish color.
Or make the background white with purple-ish designs.

One thing you may want to consider is adding the business address and phone number in your header graphic or footer. It's important for a business to have this info available on all pages, not just the contact page.
The green in the logo is kinda lonely and the purple could use a little breaking up, could you add the same green to the lines that connect the two flowers on both sides?
Consider a gradient background that goes from the dark purple on top to the light purple with white between them (white being closer to the dark purple). I tried it and it really makes the site pop out.
Just a couple ideas.

As for the biz address you mean after the copyright? or the main page when you log on to the site? Thats the page I need the slide show on. Maybe ill put it on the top or the bottom of that. I need to fix that contact page.
Im confused at what your saying about the lines? I noticed that it was lonely also.. I wanted to do some kind of design up there but I wasnt sure.
since my kid is teething real bad I can only do the small stuff. we were up from 245am till 6am and only slept for 2 hours. with a fever spiking up to 103. so once he feels i need to get on this.
thanks for your ideas.. i greatly appreciate it.. and would love more!!

Yes, the address somewhere at the top with the logo or at the bottom above/next to the copyright would be fine.
I meant those thin twisting lines that connect the two flowers on both the left & right sides.
Hope the little teether feels better soon, so mom can get some sleep too!

the background like this?
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...C/fa9bc72c.jpg
i added the flowers with it too.. should i experiment with other lace effects?
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...RC/faceit2.jpg
I then fliped the gradient.. what looks better?
sucks that i cant use that php slideshow.. it really bums me out..
as for the lines, adding green meaning, to the lines itself or connect the lines some where at the top? because it is craving for attention but i just dont know what to do with it..
thanks moods
