Envisage Rose
Hiya,
I decided to take a try at making an abstract image, a rose in particular.
It's viewable here:

Critique, comment, give suggestions. It's all good.

Yeah I gotta adjust the colors on my monitor. When I make something on APS7 (adobe photoshop 7), it looks a lot different when I save it.
I hate that. Grrr....
Oh well. It was my first try at making an abstract. You think it's too large?

Hey, not bad! Try decreasing the size and making the colours a bit more vivid though. Large images usually work best when there is lots going on, but on a singular theme like yours a smaller image would be optimal...

Who knows, I might expand on the idea as time goes on.
Thanks for the comment. My first abstract piece.

Leave the colours alone!
LOL
I like the colours, exept i think you should do something with the text, change the font, colour, position, etc.

Yeah I gotta agree with you on the font. I think I'll leave it for now since I'm really concentrating on my layout. I'd like to have it out by Thanksgiving.
I'm nearly 75% done with it. I might post it? Should I? I'd like to have feedback.
I have the base of the layout done. Right now I'm adding details to it.
After that I gotta do the dreaded work of coding it. I might just use the code Photoshop gives you, however, I was thinking of making it xhtml compliant. That would take work, I've never done that.
So the question remains... should I post a preview of my layout here or not?

YES! Post it, that will be awesome. Anyway, for the image.. its too dark for me to really see it.. go with more vibrant colors whenever you do it next or work on it.

Yeah I wanted it to be a little dark. I guess some monitors can't handle it.
Anyways, I'll be posting it soon. I wanna work on it a little first.

I want a n00 monitor myself, but LCD displays aren't too wonderful with games, and a comparable size to my current CRT would cost a fortune...
