Looks good - you've faithfully reproduced the structure of the original drawing in vector. You might now want to look into Illustrator's 3D mesh system, which will allow you to add 3D-effect gradients to your original vector, and hence allow you to add tons more detail in a way usually the reserve of 3D packages...
