The structure of the page is just fine - its clean, tidy, and easy to read. One thing I don't like, though, is the embossed look of the thread. Since the rest of your design is quite flat, I'd stick with a flat effect for the whole header too... or make all of it 3d... just don't make it a mix of the two coz it looks odd! :/
