Pixeling...

I'm working on some IPA (isometric pixel art) after quite a long time I stopped (time-energy-life draining activity, playing around with colored squares... ).
You can have a peek at my little block, and obviously hint and crit me all you want.
I'm looking for some detail to put in on the already-made buildings you can see (the Depot and the strange spaceship-style thing).
I'm working on a way to make my sprites look different from the usual pixel-man. I know it looks dead with no pixel-men and pixel-women around...
Any suggestions? ^^

Oh, the last block will be a glass building. Pretty tall, and I'll draw the inside of the floors so to see what goes on inside it (it's going to take me forever to finish it, but its soooooooo rewarding when its finished!)...

It looks like a darned good start to me! Pixel art is all about the detail though, so continue to pack in fine detail like windows, vegetation (maybe trees), people, animals, etc.

Yep, I know its all about getting close to real world, the more detail you jam in there the cooler it looks!
I'm working on a library of objects I can use in my block. Sofas, chairs, tables, computers, apartament plants, a bird, a dog, tvs, posters, stuff like that. I hope I'll be finished before Christmas!
I'll use this post just to tell to you all I'm leaving tomorrow night on a two week vacation (one week in Sussex, U.K., other week by the sea on an italian island near Tuscany). See you all when I'm back!!

Yup, thats some good work there. I enjoy doing pixel art, but I just do it for fun never create anything inparticular.
