Creative Exposure... neat PS plugin
I was debating whether to post this here or in Photoshop area but this is really geared towards photography and such so thought I would post it in here. I just stumbled upon what looks like a cool creative tool to add to your PS arsenal. Its not free but you can download free 30-day trial of a plugin for PS called "Topaz Adjust"
I haven't tried it yet... will this evening but it looks interesting and just thought I would share
Ohh... it appears you can buy it cheap right now until October 1st too.

Whoa, that's insane. Now where's the "chin on floor" smiley?
I wonder how long it took playing with sliders for each of those demo pics...

Very interesting - it seems to perform a similar set of functions to Lucis Art, but at a fraction of the price. I'll definitely check it out.

Update:
I downloaded and installed this plugin and have played with it very briefly. I'm very impressed. It does seem to do a similar job to LucisArt, but with more control sliders and many more useful presets (let's face it: has anyone ever made an image with LucisArt's Plaid preset that didn't look like crap?)
The other big selling point is the price. Until 1st October you can get Topaz Adjust for $39 (normal price $99). I'm still using LucisArt 2 which has been discontinued, but if I wanted to get LucisArt 3 it's $369. The "big boy's" version, Lucis Pro 6.0, is currently priced at $595. I think I know which one I'll be investing in.

Cool... that's good to hear... thanks for sharing your experience with it. I just haven't had time to try it myself yet. I may just go ahead and grab that for my laptop then before price goes back up. I think it would be a cool tool for certain photos or styles.

Thank you for the tip! I was also very impressed! I just downloaded the demo version. I think $39 is a very reasonable price, for what it does.
I don’t know about LucisArt, as Tamlin mentioned, but this really works. Reducing noise and makes your pictures look like HDR.
This is a small sample. The white parts are gone, so I pasted an equal looking sky in. But the rest is made with the Topaz lab filter.
Thanks again Synth!

Now that's what I call a fantastic plug-in! Certainly knocks the socks off other funky (yet quite useless) plug-ins that seem to flood the market!

Well, the demo is a fully-functioning version - just time-limited to 30 days. Download and install it and see if it works. If it doesn't, you'll know it's not compatible with your equipment - and you won't have lost anything.

I have been using Topaz Adjust since early August and I LOVE IT!!! It is my understanding that it will work with CS/CS2/CS3 and Photoshop Elements (but I am not sure how far back in the versions). It is a lot of fun to see what the various "presets" do for the images and then you get to play with the sliders to see how it changes the results.
One thing that I have been reading a lot about is that the latest edition (September Release) has trouble with the Noise Reduction portion. Topaz Labs are working on releasing (in October) another product of theirs that is to replace the Noise Reduction functionality. If it is anything like the Topaz Vivacity product (which I played with for the 30-day trial) then it is going to be REALLY good.
Just thought I would drop a dime here to let you know that it is a really good product and that it has been compared to Lucis Art QUITE a bit. For the money, you get really good results. Especially if you read the manual and play, play, play. ;-)
