Blending 2 Photographs

Can Anyone Give Me A Bit Of Advice About How To Display 2 Pictures/photographs With A Bit Of A Smoky Divide Between Them?

If you're doing it in Photoshop, use a layer mask with a Black to White gradient fill.

See attached example, and Layers palette screenshot.

Or, in an easier fashion, turn the opacity on the eraser down to about 25% and go over the picture where you want the other one to show up. >.>;

Yes, but using a layer mask means non-destructive editing, which is always preferable, since you can easily adjust image effects or changes, even weeks or months later.
