Cool...nice blogspot. Some good information on there. I recently (about 6 months ago) bought a digital camera that I think rocks the boat of any other compact 'snap' camera. It's easy to use if you are a novice and has loads of options and manual settings if you are a proffesional. It's the RICOH CAPLIO GX8. I used it for 5 months solid out in Thailand and couldn't find a thing wrong with it. It performed brilliantly out in the heat and took great snapshots as well as seriously great macro shots etc. The resolution is awesome (too over the top for some people) but it's ideal for me as I create posters and cards etc via an american website.
