Biography:In a previous life I was a rock'n'roll star. Now I run the Waterden music label, I am a member of the 391 art/music collective and I've been known to do the odd bit of software development.

I’ve always resisted the idea of writing a blog for the same sort of reasons I don’t use Twitter or update my Facebook status – I’m pretty sure no one is interested in the details of my so-called life. However, I thought I’d break with tradition and start a Bio Blog to try to help inject a bit of life into the place. Don’t worry: I’m not going to be droning on about myself – I thought I’d have a go at writing about the non-photography-oriented stuff that seems interesting (music, film, TV, books etc.), in the hope that others might be interested too.
Having said all that, I’m going to preface this first entry with a little story. Recently I took my car in for a service and, as part of the work that was done, they evidently had to disconnect the battery for some length of time. The upshot of this was that when I got it back, all my in-car DAB radio presets had disappeared. I set about re-programming it until, part-way through, [read more]
I really like the concept of taking a famous artist and making a gradient pack of his palette, like you did of Tanguy. Would I be infringing your intellectual property if I did such a gradient pack of some other artists? If not, are there any artists you would prefer I not do this with, in case you are planning on using their palettes yourself? Hello M
Just a note to TY for converting the Smoke Brushes. I used them and posted them in the Gallery under 2D. Take a peek tell me what you think.
Warm Regards

Congrats buddy on the Surrealism battle... I knew that was your entry. I had an idea at first that I ended up slopping together last minute because I had let it slip by almost. Yours was clearly more clever and the better entry
I hope you dont mind me sending you a message direct but I remeber you helping me out in Janurary with a photo manipulation for my friend's 40th (it was a photo of him and his girlfriend but you removed her and put Angelina Jolie in it - which of coiurse he was delighted with!!
Anyway I have a photo of our 15 year old that i'd like to frame for him but my hubby lifted our 6 year old in the background which I think spoils it esp as he is pulling a "rat face"!
I have spent ages trying to "colour in" (sounds awful) my six year old with the Paint program but it just looks like scribble - is there any chance you could help me out again?
