Hi Tam, me again. I have (finally) sent my tutorial to m0g and it will hopefully get there ok. There is, however, anither matter. I tried to log on when BioRUST was own and m0g said he would appreciate some pennies as it cost him a few quid to get things back up and running, I've got my paypal stuff ready to go but i dont want them to go to the wrong person. Can you please confirm his e-mail address so i can get him a little 'somethin' somethin' for his efforts?

    Cheers!

Thanks Tamlin. All I can say is that you know more about PS than I could ever hope to! I have a scanner at work and I'll see if I can get some of my mates work in here (in the 2D gallery of course).

    Thanks for the help!

I don't know if this will be of any use to you, but I can outline my process for shooting panoramas:

    1. Use a tripod
    2. Use a fixed aperture, so depth-of-field doesn't vary between shots (especially if you are using autofocus)
    3. Give your images a generous overlap - about 25% to 40%. This will give Photoshop plenty to work with
    4. In Photoshop, select File > Automate > Photomerge
    5. In the Photomerge dialog box, browse to and select the images to make up your panorama.

Photoshop creates one multilayer image from the source images, adding layer masks as needed to create optimal blending where the images overlap. You can edit the layer masks or add adjustment layers to further fine tune the different areas of the panorama.

In answer to your second question: yes, traditional artwork is just as welcome at BioRUST as digital/computer generated stuff. Just post it in the 2D Artwork Gallery.

Hi Tam, sorry to bother you. A friend of mine is a rather good pen and ink artist and is looking to add a section on his website (that another friend of mine is designing) that is like a 3D image of a room (so that you can use pointers to 'navigate' around). I know you have previously posted a fantastic panoramic image (made from several photos) and I was wondering if you could give me a few pointers to let me help him out with this issue - this would be a full 360(x) x 360(y) x 360 (z) degree image (Like you where in the center of the room and looking around).

P.S. I know BioRUST is mainly for computer generated graphics and photography - but would it be OK for me to submit my friends' artwork (signed by him of course - I don't want to take credit for others' work!) to the gallery?

PPS Sorry for the gross over-use of brackets.

    Kind regards

    You sir, are a legend.

I will make sure (that if my work is used) that you receive an honourable mention on all subject matter used.

Basically your brushes are so good I hardly have to do anything .

I will try to do some justice by adding some of my own work as aoon as possible.

What can I say - Creativity is good, but plagiarism is faster.

    Thanks again!

    Hi mate,

Yes, of course you can use my "Creepy Dolls" brushes for your project. I'd really like to see what you make with them, too.
    Best wishes,
    Tamlin

    Hi Tamlin,

I have been asked to do some artwork for a friend of mine from work. It is for his band that seem to be quite a heavy bunch. It is only a little play on graphic design but I do believe that they get paid for their gigs. This does present a problem for me, I found your 'creepy dolls' brushes are a fantastic little feature for this kind of thing.

I am not asking for any money for doing this work for them, but as they will be getting money for their gigs I don't want to use your free downloads in order to publish a revenue generating opportunity for someone else unless you give me your permission.

If you do, thanks very much and I'll keep you updated on the material I produce. If it's not OK then I understand perfectly and i may have to do a little more hard work than previously imagined.

    Regards

    Hi Tamlin,

Seen as though you seem to know your way around the BioRust site / community I was wondering if you could point me in the general direction of adding a tutorial. Granted this probably isn't as spectacular as some of the other tuts out there on BioRust, and it does start with a bit a plagiarism from 5-0's 'abstract swirls' tutorial, but i think a couple of the new guys (like me) would enjoy it. (I have to say it was a lot of fun to faff around with it to make some of the techniques blend well.).

Hope you can help (and sorry again for pestering you with inane questions!)

    b00sk
