That's ok. Since... I work a lot in LR... I started going straight from LR to Photomatix for HDR and tone mapping and back to LR and then to PS for final touches. Funny how we always seem to have totally different routines with same programs

Ok... got a question on the Photomatix Pro for ya T. When is it best to use exposure blending vs. HDR image creation? I have yet to try the blending and wondered it may work better for certain images where HDR would be better for others? Any thoughts on the 2 processes?

Thanks T... sure I will have a few questions... I posted one my first Photomatix worked HDR pieces in the gallery. It needed a nice subject but this was best round of exposures I had for HDR at the time and just wanted to try it out.

I finally took the plunge and got the Photomatix software based on your recommendation, seeing your HDR work and seeing a couple tuts that covered the control possible in the app. So... now I just gotta get some good HDR subjects

Looking at a fog tutorial you posted over a year ago (Photoshop Tutorials - Realistic Fog & Mist) and i really love the effect you achieved. however, i'm not able to go past step 4. once i apply the clouds filter, i have a solid grey mass, and further steps dont seem to disperse the clouds like it has appeared to work for you. Any idea what dumb mistake I'm making? Thanks so much for your help!

Hi Tam, me again. I have (finally) sent my tutorial to m0g and it will hopefully get there ok. There is, however, anither matter. I tried to log on when BioRUST was own and m0g said he would appreciate some pennies as it cost him a few quid to get things back up and running, I've got my paypal stuff ready to go but i dont want them to go to the wrong person. Iv'e looked arround between the pictures I took the last two days. And it seems that sometimes the sky just is turkuos and sometimes blue. Maybe thet's the specilty for this isalnd. Allready 100 years all the artists came to Gotland because of the soft light conditions here. Ask Kenneth what he thinks.
