    I am a newbie to design. I have started teaching myself. I have no art classes in my background. The only kind of design I have done in the past has been newletter layouts for neighborhood groups and a couple of organizations. I used mostly clip art Then without altering them. Now I want to learn how to make designs of my own.

    Graphic design is becoming my hobby. I have been doing creative stuff on a friend's web site. There are several of us working on it, and my skills are below everyone else's. I want to catch up!
