I have been trying to figure out how to do a remote or disjoint rollover for the past several weeks with no luck. I want four buttons on the right and a large picture on the left. As the mouse goes over the buttons on the right the image on the left needs to be replaced by four separate images.
Fireworks allows for one image change.
So now I'm trying it with Adobe Illustrator. I'm using this tutorial
BioRUST.com :: Tutorials >> Remote Rollovers
It's confusing that the first paragraph starts out talking about Image Ready and ends up saying all you need is Adobe Illustrator. I'm hoping that the part about adobe Illustrator is correct.
I do my slices and then I get to step two and the directions say select a button in the slice Palette and I'm stuck. I can't find a slice palette. I searched the help topics and I can't find anything about a slice palette. Does anyone know what the tutorial is referring to?
Can any one tell me if it is possible to create what I want using Fireworks or Adobe Illustrator?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
